Disney Magic - Norway and Iceland - Day in London!

We had a full day in London before Embarkation and were excited to show the girls around. London is one city we didnt make it to during our time in Geneva so S had never been to London either, but it is an important city to J and me - it's the first international city we vacationed in together and he also met me in London when I was there on a business trip around our 10-year wedding anniversary.

Everyone slept in a bit due to jet lag - I picked up some breakfast stuff from Pret. For the morning we split up a bit - J ran 15 miles around Hyde Park while the girls and I went shopping a bit - we went to Selfridge's, which we all loved. We mostly wanted some new Little Miss and Mister books and found the one we wanted (Little Miss Inventor) plus a few others. We also stopped at the Disney Store and Boots for some things we needed.

Next up was a stop at the hotel restaurant for yummy pineapple juice before walking around Grosvenor Square where we had fun with their summer IG set ups.

We met up with J for a late lunch and then took the Tube to the London Eye. I had pre-bought the flex-express tickets to minimize our time in line and it worked - it was a gorgeous day so people were everywhere but our wait wasn't too long.

From there, we talked to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace - C wanted to knock on the door and ask to visit the Queen but settled for watching the guards.

We walked towards Picadilly but the girls were getting tired so we headed back to the hotel for rest, cruise prep, and dinner. J relaxed with the girls while I went for an evening run in Hyde Park before we all attempted sleep with the excitement of the cruise the next day!
