Our driver picked us up at 9:30am (Blackberry Cars) for an expected arrival at Dover around 11:30am - we unfortunately had about a 30 minute delay due to an awful accident about 30 minutes away from the terminal so arrived closer to noon.
We dropped off our luggage and hopped in the check in line - to our surprise, one of S's two pen pals was right in front of us - that made waiting in line go very quickly (it was only about a 10 minute line). At check in, we were given boarding number 6 and they were already on group 12 so we walked right on the ship and went directly to the sit-down lunch.
Our afternoon consisted of heading to our room, open house at the Kids Club, Facebook group meet up, the Safety Check, and the Pool.
We met up with some characters before heading to our first dinner at Lumiere's where we met our server - Suttipong and assistant server- Jose. We had the same head server as last year on the Fantasy- Krasimir- so that was fun to see him again.
The girls headed to the Kids Club while J and I unpacked and I did some laundry before we picked up the girls and had ice cream before bed to start off this wonderful adventure!
