Disney Magic Iceland and Norway - Sea Day #1

Our first full day on the ship was a Sea Day, which we fully enjoyed.

I woke up early and went for a run and then took girls to Cabanas buffet while J ran.

The girls and I delivered half of our Fish Extender and Treats gift exchanges. We were in one FE group and one treats group - always so much fun!

We saw a lot of characters - we call it the character carousel when they have characters out on 15-minute intervals and then headed to Deck 9 for the girls aged 7-9 ice cream social. Our cruise had a very active Facebook group and S had 2 pen pals ahead of the cruise - she was able to meet her second pen pal in person at the cruise. Funnily enough, her mom and I have a mutual friend.

After the ice cream party, S went to the Kids Club with her new friends while I took C swimming in the cold before we visited some characters together.

I made the family go with me to a sit-down lunch at Lumiere's today - it was yummy but slow so I didnt do that the rest of the cruise.

Our room steward made the girls very happy by giving them special Moana sheets instead of the regular plain ones.

Then more characters, more kids club including a Cookie Baking activity during parent open house, before getting ready for Formal Night.

Formal night was nice - we did some character photos and had a lovely dinner at Animator's Palate before the girls went to Pluto's PJ party. While the girls were away, J and I wandered the ship and went to the (not very hot) hot tub.

C was ready to leave first so we visited Donald who played with her a lot including snoozing on her Pluto's pillowcase. Then we picked up S and visited Minnie before bed and our first port city.

and one more favorite photo of the day!
