Christmas in the USA

We spent 2 weeks in the US this year for Christmas and my brother's wedding - all in all, it was a great trip!

Highlights included:

- Three Christmas Celebrations - we had two celebrations in Niles with my family and one in Columbus with J's family. S really enjoyed opening presents and seeing everyone.

- S's first wedding - she was the flower girl in my brother, Travis's wedding. Her dress was a miniature of the bride's and absolutely adorable. The wedding was amazing and we all had a really nice time.

-The Pittsburgh Children's Museum - this is a great museum with many different themed areas of play. S especially liked the 'Garage' and 'Art' rooms.

- The Columbus Zoo for Zoo Lights - the lights were beautiful and the carousel was really fun. S also got to visit Mrs. Claus and decorate a cookie to take home.

- Shopping in the US! I had a business trip to Cincinnati a week before we returned for this trip so I did a lot of my shopping then. We did the rest of our Christmas shopping and some additional shopping for ourselves during this trip. S also enjoyed playing at the play areas in the various malls.

We flew back to Geneva on January 1and aren't planning to return to the US for leisure for the rest of the year. Thank goodness for facetime and visitors from the US!
