As we celebrated S's third birthday, we took a moment to think about how much she has changed over the past year and all that she has experienced. S has truly transformed from a toddler to kid.
Some of the major changes/new experiences include:
S eats the same dinners as we do most nights. Some of her favorite dinners include our 'special pizza' that J makes, chicken in Greek yogurt sauce, and chicken nuggets.
S is fully potty trained!
S has traveled to 8 countries (soon to be 10...and then even more by the end of summer). She had traveled a good amount while in the US, but she has proven to be quite the little traveler over the past 12 months. She even knows to put Minnie through the metal detector at airport security.
S's love of animals has grown - she continues to love zoos, farms, and the ducks at the zoo.
S has clearly inherited my family's love of dancing. She loves to have the music on the iPad and to dance alone or with J.
S has become infatuated with princesses and princes. Cinderella is her favorite, but she also likes Rapunzel, Beauty & the Beast, and Snow White.
S's self confidence and distinct opinions are very clear. She likes to choose her outfits, her snacks, and her main activities. I see so much of my personality in her and see J's unwavering persistence in her. I absolutely adore her personality as it comes through more and more.
And to close, a picture of S on her birthday each year!
Follow our family of four through our many travels and other adventures. We love to travel to new countries and also love Disney.
