Highlights from Return to the US

I can't believe we have been back in the US for over a month already. It's been hectic with many different emotions, but we are all settling as well as can be expected. I plan to keep the blog up to date as it makes sense. Here's some of what's been going on since we have been in Cinci.

S has adjusted incredibly well to her new preschool, which is also her old daycare center and where baby C will go when I return to work. She has enjoyed the summer curriculum, including weeks with a focus on camping, the ocean, and Farmer's Markets. They also focus on 3 letters and 1 number per week.

We haven't walked away from Disney! S did a Princess Camp one week in the evenings and met many princesses, did crafts, and learned some short dances. We also took her to the Disney Junior Pirates & Princesses Live Show.

J was promoted at work shortly after we returned and also completed the last corporate track meet in San Diego.

We are settling back into our house - S loves her new full bed and the multiple floors. Baby C's room is coming together nicely too. We have all enjoyed looking at the baby clothes & S giggles at the fact that she used to fit into them.

We took S to a 'Big Sister' Cass. She practiced holding, feeding, and changing a baby, learned some safety tips, and saw where M will deliver baby C.

We had a belated birthday party for S with M's parents and brother G's family (notice the Birthday Tree!) and have also seen J's mom and grandpa, and our friend A and son C from Baltimore.
