Toddler Fun

S is at just such a fun toddler stage! She is quite the chatterbox (like me!) and definitely has a point of view on many things. She is turning more into a 'kid' every day.

Some of the most recent highlights are:

I have a baking buddy!!! For the past few weekends, while J is out skiing, S and I enjoy baking - she helps me pick out the recipe, get the ingredients together, and waits patiently for our treats to be done. We have made Nutella brownies (delightful), chocolate chip cookies and bars, and Nutella cupcakes. I think she had the most fun with cupcakes because she got to put all the liners in the pan.

 

 

She is transitioning from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to Sofia the First as her favorite TV show - we don't watch much TV here, but we tend to let S watch one TV show in the evening after bath time on the Sling Box. For the past few weeks, Sofia the First has been the show of choice and she has enjoyed watching it with her Marianne doll (matching PJ's at all!)

 

S loves Legos - we have the Cinderella, Snow White, & Sleeping Beauty ones and she loves to build the castle and play pretend with the Princesses. I have already bought her the latest Ariel one for Valentine's Day - I hope she is excited.

 

We are potty training!!! S is transitioning amazingly well - no more diapers at this house. We are doing Pull Ups and Underwear depending on the situation and have few accidents in the Pull Ups. We need to be fully potty trained by our Disney Cruise (end of May) so that S can go in the swimming pool and to the kid club.
