We are definitely adjusting to the Swiss culture of everything being closed on Sundays - it can be annoying as I would have loved to shop in some the stores we walked by today but it does force a nice simplicity to the day.
This morning, we had a family breakfast of pancakes and eggs. After that, S and I headed down to the lake. It was crazy windy in Geneva so the fountain was off. The Geneva Triathlon was today though so S and I went over there and watched the professional women through their bike leg - she loved it! S was clapping and dancing for awhile. We also found some free bounce houses in the area for spectators - S played and played. After a little while, she asked to head home and fell asleep in her stroller on the bus.
After nap time, S and I read some books on the patio and then all three of us headed back to the lake. This time, we decided to ride the ferris wheel that is in town for the Geneva festival. S really liked it and the views were spectacular. We wandered around a bit more to see what else the festival had and then came home.
Our furniture comes tomorrow so hopefully that goes smoothly!
Follow our family of four through our many travels and other adventures. We love to travel to new countries and also love Disney.
