And away we go - the start of our Hawaiian adventure

For our main summer vacation this year, we decided to go to Hawaii as an early 10 year anniversary celebration. Our anniversary is late October but we didn't want to pull S out of school so came now. 

The first stop was Aulani, a Disney resort on Oahu, and our second stop was Grand Wailea, where we honeymooned, on Maui. 

We left on Friday morning the day after S finished kindergarten. We flew through LAX and the girls were mostly great travelers. C had me laughing- a few hours into our second flight she was asking to 'go outside' 



Upon arrival we had our own speedy shuttle and were on our way to aulani easily after landing. We checked in and grabbed a few things to eat before getting to sleep to enjoy our first full day. Details on that soon.
