We spent last weekend in Crans-Montana, a town in the Swiss Alps about two hours from Geneva. We left Friday afternoon and experienced the regular Geneva traffic jam - the views were amazing though!
We arrived at the hotel and were quickly able to check in and go to our room - the hotel is new and very clean. S loved that her bed was right next to ours and also loved the big bathtub in our room. We also had a very large balcony with amazing views.
We had dinner at the hotel and then went to bed. J skied on Saturday while S and I swam and played at the hotel. We went into town for lunch and had an amazing experience at a little local Italian grocery store/restaurant. J was done skiing by the time we returned so we caught up and then went back to the swimming pool while J lifted weights. That night we went back into town and had some delicious pizzas and pasta before going back to the hotel for a good night's sleep and time for us to finally 'Spring Ahead'.
We drove home Sunday morning after a fantastic weekend away.
