Fun in Dubai Malls!

The malls in Dubai are amazing  - they are beautiful, huge, clean and house way more than a traditional mall.

We visited the Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates.

Some highlights include:

Ice Skating at Dubai Mall: This was S's first time ice skating - she seemed to enjoy it but didn't want to do it for too long.

Top of Burj Khalifa: The Burj Khalifa is currently the world's tallest building and there is an observation deck a little more than halfway up. We went up early one morning and enjoyed the views. S thought it was really cool that she was on the 124th floor of a building and liked looking at all of the taxis from so high up.

Skiing in the Desert: J was excited to ski at the Mall of the Emirates for the new experience of skiing indoors in the desert.

M & S Play time: While J skied, I took Sophia to 'Magic Planet', a large arcade with rides, games, and an indoor play area. She enjoyed the rides and loved the indoor play area - there were lots of climbing areas and slides.

Favorite Foods: We had lunch at PF Chang's one day and had cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery (yes, the same as the NYC ones) - both seemed like special treats since we can't get the equivalent in Geneva.
