We have been settling nicely into Geneva over the past few weeks but it didn't feel quite like 'home' as we had rental furniture and only a limited amount of our stuff. That all changed on Monday! At 7:30am, the rental company came and off they went with the rental furniture. Next, it was time for our sea shipment to arrive and what a fun experience that was!
There were 5-6 guys delivering our stuff throughout the day. My company provides the moving service and they are expected to put all furniture back together and unpack all boxes but cannot put the contents away for us. So for the next 6 hours, I had to direct 5-6 men with limited English on where things went, how to arrange our furniture, and ensure that I noted any damage done. They were great though and before we knew it, our stuff was all here. J and I have been organizing the apartment and will continue to do so this weekend. S is happy to have her bed back and also happy to see some of her other things.
I will post pictures once we have hung things on the wall.
Follow our family of four through our many travels and other adventures. We love to travel to new countries and also love Disney.
