Day in Copenhagen

After a nice flight, we arrived in Copenhagen and found the wonderful Disney Cruise greeters. Before we knew it, we were off to our hotel for the night before boarding the ship the next day.

J, S, and I spent a long weekend in Copenhagen while living in Geneva and had absolutely fallen in love with Tivoli Gardens. We knew that would be the main focus of our time in Copenhagen this trip. After some rest, we walked the few blocks to Tivoli and were immediately back into the amazing magical feeling we had last time. C enjoyed it just as much as the rest of us. The girls enjoyed the ferris wheel, antique cars, the up and down ride, and S liked the boat ride. When we went a few years ago, S couldn't get enough of the up and down ride- this time, it was C who loved it and S still enjoyed it too.

We had dinner at Wagamama - my sentimental favorite as it was the only place I could eat during a business trip while pregnant with S without being sick. Strange as it sounds, it brings back good memories.

Then it was back to the hotel to try to get the girls some sleep before our big cruise morning the next day. Lucky for us, they were ready for a good night sleep and slept nearly 13 hours before waking them for breakfast and cruising.

A few other fun things:
C kept asking me why people leave their bikes outside. She thought it was funny. It reminded me of when S first went to Amsterdam and was asking all about the bikes there too.

Behind our hotel was a major sunbathing area of Copenhagen and with the warm weather, many people were out and about including some guys carrying a big boombox around - the girls thought this was hilarious.
