S & I left mid-afternoon Friday (half-day vacation for me) and took the train to Paris and then the local train to Disney. We caught the hotel shuttle and J met us at the hotel (he had already checked in, which was great!).
Friday night we went out to dinner in Disney Village to Rainforest Cafe - S loved the different animals and it was a good meal overall. There were fireworks in the Village that night too so we got a sneak peek at them.
Saturday was our full day and it was great. We had early entrance into the Walt Disney Studios and loved the Cars ride. After a few rides, we headed to Disneyland and it was gorgeous- everything was decorated and ready for Christmas. We enjoyed the decorations, some rides (including multiple trips on It's a small world), and met Mickey, Tigger, and Piglet!
We then were lucky enough to catch the first 2013 Christmas Cavalcade parade - all the characters were dressed in their holiday best and S got her first glance of the year of Santa! Then, off to lunch with the princesses. We got to meet Cinderella, Snow White, Tiana, and Prince Navin. It was perfect as S loves Princess and the Frog. A great moment was when Snow White asked S to sit on her lap while Tiana and Navin danced.
We went back to the hotel and rested a bit and then headed back to the park. A lot of things had closed early in preparation for Disney Dreams show. We watched the show and then went to dinner at Inventions in Disneyland Hotel. I chose this because I knew this gave another character meet & greet (S LOVES the characters!) - we met Chip, Dale, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and Stitch.
Sunday we met (and hopped around with) Tigger and then we headed to the park for early open hours.
We met some characters including Winnie the Pooh (who we missed on our last outing) and Duffy. We then went back to Walt Disney Studios for the Disney Junior Show -there was play time with Sofia the First and Jake from Neverland Pirates and then the show- it was great! We also saw Ariel and Aladdin afterwards. After lunch, we had to head back to Paris to catch our train home.
It was a fantastic fun-filled weekend- we all enjoyed it!
