Another Ski Weekend - Veysonnaz

We spent another family ski weekend away this past weekend in Veysonnaz, which is about a 2 hour drive from Geneva. We had found the hotel through BuyClub and knew it was in a different region than J had skied before - we were all ready for a weekend away (Saturday- Monday). Veysonnaz is a very small town, much smaller than the others we have gone to, so it was a quiet but fun weekend for S and me while J skied.

On Saturday morning, S was so excited that she packed up her backpack right after breakfast and put on her boots and coat. We left soon after that and the drive was uneventful but beautiful! Switzerland is such an amazing country with great views every way you drive.

We were able to check in to the hotel right away and J headed out to ski for the afternoon. S and I had lunch at the hotel, played a bit in the room, and went out for a walk. That evening, we had a family dinner at the hotel next door.

On Sunday, we had breakfast at the hotel before J set out to ski. S and I played in the hotel for awhile and then walked through the town again. We stopped at the town bakery for hot chocolates before going back to the hotel. We met J for lunch and then S took her nap. We had fondue for dinner and were all pretty tired afterwards.

On Monday, we had breakfast at the hotel and then set off for Geneva. I took the day off of work to get some personal things done and spend the day with S.

Another highlight - S had no potty accidents! She truly is potty trained.
